We implemented a database with city location, airline, destination and flight information being displayed on Flash-based templates. Usage is very intuitive, and detailed information is available in two clicks. Users can choose to begin the search using predefined maps of their countries. They also have the option of selecting particular airlines.
Users can select an airport and view all connections to Europe. Clicking the destination provides information on all scheduled flights available. Users can also browse secondary information such as airline and airport details.
The site admin is almost completely graphical, making it very easy to add cities, airlines, routes and flight information to the database directly through a map.
